Three Details You Must Check
1. MMI platform
Identify whether the vehicle uses MMI 2G, MMI 3G Basic, MMI 3G High, MMI 3G Plus, MIB1, MIB2, MHS2 or MH2p.
2. Region
Select maps prepared for Europe, North America or the appropriate Rest of World region.
3. Licence requirements
Some systems require a valid navigation licence, activation or patched unit before newer maps can be used.
Map-Only Updates and Complete Bundle Packs
Navigation maps only
Choose a map-only product when the MMI already has compatible firmware and the required navigation licence or activation.
Complete bundle pack
Selected bundles combine compatible maps with the required firmware, activation files, scripts or additional tools described on the product page.
Check the package contents carefully. A map-only product does not automatically include firmware or activation, while bundle contents differ between MMI systems.
Available Navigation Regions
Europe
European map packages for compatible Audi MMI systems, with coverage depending on the selected release.
North America
Selected packages cover the USA, Canada and Mexico where supported by the navigation release.
Rest of World
ROW releases may include Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Singapore, South Africa and other supported areas.
Maps and Firmware Are Different
Navigation maps contain road, address and route-guidance data. Firmware is the operating software of the MMI unit.
A map update does not automatically update the MMI firmware. Some map releases require a specific minimum firmware version, but firmware should only be updated when required for the selected package or another documented procedure.

Selected products can be supplied on prepared physical media delivered by post.
MMI 2G DVD images
Applicable MMI 2G packages may be supplied as downloadable disc images for preparation on compatible DVD media.
