Audi TT MK3 Apple CarPlay & Android Auto Activation Guide

With our guide, you’ll be able to harness the power of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, transforming your Audi TT into a connected and smart vehicle.

This guide explains how to activate Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in an Audi TT MK3 (8S) equipped with MIB2 and Virtual Cockpit.

Unlike a general MIB2 activation guide, the Audi TT requires several vehicle-specific checks before activation. The procedure may include updating the MMI firmware to MHI2_ER_AU43x_P5098, updating the Virtual Cockpit software, patching the MMI and enabling the required Audi Smartphone Interface settings with OBD11 or VCDS.

Before starting, verify your current MMI firmware and Virtual Cockpit software version. Do not install firmware based only on the vehicle model or production year.
