These packages are only for supported MMI 3G systems being converted to Europe. Choose HNav for MMI 3G High or HN+ for MMI 3G Plus. The Audi model and production year alone cannot confirm compatibility.

These products are not intended for USA or Canada systems. North American MMI units require a separate conversion package and procedure.

BOSE firmware warning

If the Audi has a BOSE sound system, deselect the BOSE component during the firmware installation unless its update is specifically required. Bang & Olufsen can remain selected where supported.

What can the conversion change?

Depending on the original regional configuration, the procedure can install European firmware, change the navigation database region, add European maps and compatible European language options, activate the maps and adapt regional settings.

A software conversion cannot add hardware that is not physically installed in the vehicle. Radio frequency adaptation may also require a separate coding change after the MMI conversion.

  • complete current MMI firmware version;
  • current navigation database version;
  • original vehicle region;
  • Audi model and production year;
  • installed sound system.

Frequently asked questions

Does this convert an Australian or New Zealand Audi to Europe?

Yes, provided the vehicle has a supported ROW-region MMI 3G High HNav or MMI 3G Plus HN+ system.

Can I choose the package using only the Audi model?

No. Check the complete firmware train. An HNav system requires the MMI 3G High package, while an HN+ system requires the MMI 3G Plus package.

Does this work with MIB2 or MIB3?

No. This category contains MMI 3G conversion packages only. MIB platforms require different firmware and conversion procedures.

Will the conversion add missing hardware?

No. The conversion changes compatible software and regional navigation settings but cannot add equipment that is not installed in the vehicle.
