Choose the Correct European Audi Q2 Update

Firmware updates the operating software of the infotainment unit. Navigation maps update the road database. Map activation or a valid licence allows a compatible system to use the installed database. Check what is included before selecting a product.

  • Confirm that the firmware and region match the installed unit.

  • Connect the vehicle to a suitable external power supply.
  • Do not switch off the MMI or remove the installation media during the update.

Does newer firmware guarantee additional features?

No. Available functions also depend on the installed hardware, licences, vehicle equipment and configuration. A firmware update does not automatically add every feature used by newer vehicles.
