This is a complete, untouched Audi firmware package supplied as three CD images. It is intended exclusively for European Audi vehicles equipped with MMI 2G High.

This product contains firmware only. Navigation maps are not included.

What Is Included?

The package contains the complete H2_HI_EU_K942 (5570) firmware update divided into three CD images:

• CD 1 — approximately 41 MB;
• CD 2 — approximately 13.5 MB;
• CD 3 — approximately 55.6 MB;

All three discs must be prepared and installed according to the supplied procedure.

Latest European MMI 2G High Firmware

H2_HI_EU_K942, commonly identified as software version 5570, is the latest available European firmware release for Audi MMI 2G High.

Depending on the software currently installed in the vehicle, an intermediate update to H2_HI_EU_K921 (5150) may be required before installing version 5570.

If your MMI requires the intermediate 5150 firmware, it will be provided free of charge with your order.

Compatibility Requirements

This firmware is intended only for:

• Audi MMI 2G High;
• European-region MMI systems;
• systems compatible with the H2_HI_EU firmware branch.

It is not compatible with:

• MMI 2G Basic;
• North American MMI 2G High firmware;
• MMI 3G Basic;
• MMI 3G High;
• MMI 3G Plus;
• RMC;
• MIB1, MIB2 or MIB3.

Do not identify the system using the vehicle model alone. Audi used different infotainment systems in vehicles from similar production years.

The firmware supports compatible European versions of:

• Audi A4
• Audi A5
• Audi A6
• Audi A8
• Audi Q7

The vehicle must be equipped with MMI 2G High using the European firmware branch. Model and year alone do not guarantee compatibility.

What Can the 5570 Firmware Update Improve?

Depending on the currently installed software, version 5570 can provide:

• improved MMI system stability;
• fixes for selected software errors;
• improved Bluetooth and telephone compatibility;
• improved operation of connected MMI components;
• smoother system performance;
• compatibility required for later MMI 2G navigation updates;
• the final available European MMI 2G High software baseline.

The update does not install new navigation maps, activate Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, or add hardware functions that are not present in the vehicle.

Important: This Update Uses CDs

MMI 2G High firmware is installed from three CDs, not from an SD card.

Do not copy these firmware files to an SD card. The downloaded CD images must be correctly extracted and burned onto suitable blank CDs.

Recommended Update Order

Follow the supplied instructions carefully:

1. Confirm that the system is European MMI 2G High.
2. Check the currently installed software version.
3. Contact us if you are unsure whether version 5150 is required first.
4. Prepare all three firmware CDs.
5. Connect the vehicle to a stable battery charger.
6. Install the discs in the specified order.
7. Allow every stage to finish completely.
8. Restart the MMI and verify software version 5570.

Do not skip an intermediate firmware version when it is required.

Important Installation Precautions

Before starting:

• use high-quality blank CDs;
• burn each image at a low recording speed;
• do not create ordinary data discs if the supplied files are CD images;
• keep the vehicle connected to a stable power supply;
• do not eject a disc while its update is running;
• do not switch off the ignition or MMI during installation;
• verify each disc before beginning the update.

An interrupted firmware installation can leave the MMI unable to start correctly.

Download and File Preparation

If you choose digital delivery:

1. Download all supplied files to a Windows computer.
2. Extract the archive using current software such as 7-Zip.
3. Check that all three CD images have downloaded completely.
4. Burn each image onto a separate CD.
5. Label the discs clearly as CD 1, CD 2 and CD 3.
6. Install them in the order specified in the instructions.

If an archive reports an error, download it again before preparing the discs. Do not install incomplete or damaged files.

Digital Download

You receive the three firmware CD images and installation instructions electronically. You must burn the three discs yourself.

Prepared CD Set

We prepare and ship three ready-to-use firmware CDs:

Firmware Only – Maps Not Included
